Due to the recent pandemic, puppies are no longer readily available. 

Ward's Pet Shop will continue to receive puppies as they are available to us.

Here at Ward’s, every effort is made to ensure that you purchase a healthy and happy puppy! Puppies are handled and played with daily to ensure that your puppy is well socialized when it joins your family. All puppies are fully vaccinated and wormed on a regular schedule.

We require that you take your puppy to your Veterinarian within seventy-two hours of purchase for a general checkup and to receive instructions on follow up vaccinations and proper care. We at Ward’s Pet Center sell our puppies as pets and quality companions. We do not guarantee the puppies for conformity to breed characteristics or for show quality. Ward’s Pet Center cannot guarantee the size of a puppy in adulthood or for breeding/reproductive purposes.

We do guarantee your puppy to be free from Parvo, Distemper and Hepatitis for up to ten days from the date the puppy leaves our control. Should your puppy be diagnosed with Parvo, Distemper or Hepatitis by your Veterinarian within ten days; contact us immediately! We will require that you provide a dated full report and a copy of all tests from your Veterinarian, which will be verified by our Veterinarian. In case death of the puppy occurs, our Veterinarian may request the body of the puppy to be returned at our expense for further testing. Ward’s Pet Center will either refund the purchase price of the puppy or replace the puppy with one of equal value or one from the next litter.

Exposure to infectious disease after the puppy leaves our care is not covered under our guarantee, as Ward’s Pet Center cannot be responsible for the care of the puppy after it leaves our control. Please pay particular attention to this possibility if you have recently lost a pet due to infectious disease.

There will be a certain amount of stress on the puppy when it leaves our environment. 

Ward’s Pet Center does not guarantee against stress induced problems such as:

HYPOGLYCEMIA (low blood sugar, which is especially problematic in smaller breeds)

COCCIDIOSIS (which is dormant in most live animals)

These conditions will not be covered under Ward’s Pet Center Guarantee.

Our responsibility to you under this guarantee is to refund the cost of the puppy or replace it with another from Ward’s Pet Center. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damage to your puppy and will not reimburse vet bills, nor compensate you for your time spent or emotional hardship. If you replace your puppy by purchasing from another person or establishment other than Ward’s, you will not be compensated for any charges incurred. In the event of any dispute between Ward’s Pet Center and you, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue in Finney County, Kansas where the purchase originated. The guarantee and our transaction are govern by the law of the State of Kansas.

If you sell, lease or give the puppy to a third party this guarantee becomes null and void. By signing and dating the guarantee form you state that you have read, understand and agree to all conditions and provision of Wards Pet Center.
